Why we built Crew Time

Most construction crews track time on paper or in spreadsheets that someone has to manually enter into payroll. Scheduling lives in a group text or a whiteboard in the shop. We built Crew Time to bring both into one system that your crew already has in their pocket.

Scheduling that works for you

Create weekly schedules with day, work week, or full week views. Each shift includes the worker, project, equipment, activity code, and time range. Admins can toggle between individual and team views to see one person's week or the whole crew at once.

Need the same crew on the same job next week? Duplicate shifts to copy them to other days instead of recreating everything from scratch.

Timeclock with activity codes

Your crew clocks in and out from their phone. Each entry includes an activity code that maps to your accounting categories, so when it's time to run payroll, the data is already organized the way your bookkeeper needs it. Companies can make activity selection required if they need every hour accounted for by code.

Switching between tasks is seamless. Crew members can transition from one activity to another without clocking out first. One tap closes the current entry and opens the next one.

Admins can create manual entries for employees, split entries to account for lunch breaks, and see who's actively clocked in with the real-time "Active Now" view.

Approve and export for payroll

Time entries go through an approval workflow. Admins review submitted hours, approve them individually or in bulk, or reject them with a reason so the employee can correct and resubmit. Every change is tracked with a full audit trail showing who changed what, when, and why.

When the pay period ends, export a CSV with employee IDs, project codes, activity codes, and duration in both hours:minutes and decimal formats. No more re-typing hours from a stack of paper timesheets.
